Jen Bazzanella has a vast array of work including both commercial and fine arts photography. As a child, she acquired a Pentax K1000 manual film camera that sparked a passion to illustrate narratives through photography.  After years of taking still photos for her own enjoyment, Jennifer decided to pursue a career in motion pictures and enrolled at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Her need to tell a story, whether it be through illustration, narration, photo or motion pictures was overpowering.  She received a BFA in Film from the University of the Arts in 1996 and relocated to San Francisco, California.  There she began working in visual display arts and retail merchandising for the famed Toy Store F.A.O. Schwarz (Featured in the Movie BIG and THE SMURFS). Approximately a year later Jennifer was offered a position as a technician in the video editing facilities of the Academy of Art College in San Francisco.

By 1999 Jennifer had decided to relocate once again to Los Angeles to concentrate on the production side of film making. After freelancing in various positions she began work as a production assistant for Wirebreak Entertainment, a web based magazine style network. Along with producer Greg Tillman (Really Big Things, Extreme Loggers, & Dirty Jobs) Jennifer assisted on the daily news/comedy show entitled NewsBlast (hosted by comedian Maz Jobrani and Emmy Winning Host of the Clean House Franchise on Style Network, Trish Suhr).

After leaving Wirebreak Jennifer, Producer Greg Tillman, and fellow film maker Rogelio Gonzalez produced a spotlight piece for the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce that featured Robert E. Petersen, Founder and Owner of Hot Rod Magazine and the Petersen Auto Museum.

Again life drew Jennifer to make a move back to the East coast to work as a Camera Assistant Camera on the set of a Feature length film shot in Toms River, New Jersey.  Jennifer then settled back in New Jersey as a technician, video producer and editor for Burlington County College.

She continued working as Video technician, producer, stage manager, and video conferencing technician and was later recognized with a citation by the Camden County Board of Freeholders for outstanding work on training videos for the county’s Emergency Management Services.

In 2004 Jennifer became Program Director at TelVue Virtual Television Network. While at TelVue, Jennifer received two Ovation awards for videos produced for the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisers and received Recognition from the Philadelphia chapter of the Susan G. Komen foundation.

In 2008 Jennifer again returned to Freelancing. Since that time she has worked on commercial projects for Corrado Construction, Tom Baz (Musician), Jimmy Heffernan (Musician & Producer), Fastlane Biker Magazine, Full Throttle Magazine, Easy Rider Magazine, and Paul Evans Pedersen Jr (Musician).  She continues working with photography and videography on a daily basis to convey a story through each project.
